Favorite Things

There's just those things in your makeup kit, wardrobe or shoe closet that you always run to first and no matter how many times you've worn it, you just cant and won't get rid of it.

It's like over the years you've mange to build a special bond between you and that item.

well here's a list of a few of my ultimate favourite things thats stood the test of time.

Make up

"cherish" by mac

After months of trying to get my hands on the oh so famous "velvet teddy" a store adviser suggest "cherish" as the closet dupe and oh how I love it. I feel is the perfect shade for people with darker skin. It doesn't make me look washed out have the dreaded ashy lips all in the name of nude lipstick. Its a satin finish and works effortlessly with a gloss.

"stone" by mac

I remember when mac released there new line of lipstick matte lip collection last summer and they made some or our favourite lip pencil into lipsticks I only had two lipsticks in ind "stone" and "whirl". Unfortunately I wasn't able to get my hand on "whirl" but I did fight tooth and nail for "stone". "stone" is a greyish taupe brown it has a semi - matte finish and has a light creamy consistency and last long without needing a re touch.

"ruby roo" by mac

Who doesn't love ruby she's always faith and never fails. She like the best friend you can always count on. Ruby roo was my 1st ever mac lipstick and ever since then I've purchased it twice after due to me losing it and what not. Ruby is the perfect shade on anybody she drys super matte meaning you don't have to make as many top ups as the day go's and apply soft on the lips, but the real plus is for some reason when she has the ability to make my teeth look extra whiter.

" gold deposit"  by mac

This bar far is a highlight worth the investment. My go to highlight gives me a vibrant, soft golden-bronze finish to my face its also subtle ( so you can build up on it  to get the perfect finish) and can be used on the body too.

Contour palette

ABH (Anastasia Beverly Hills) contour cream kit. As you can see I use the kit a lot. I'm sure most of use are very aware of this kit by now and the rumours are true this palette is worth the investment. I love the consistency of it its more dry than a concealer which is what you would want in your cream contour kit cause it wont crease as bad and it also allows the colour to stay and be defined without blending into your skin and loosing its definition.



Set in spray

Urban decay all nighter make up setting spray. I prefer this over my mac fix+ I feel like it really does a great job, it allows my makeup to stay on longer, decreases the amount of creasing underneath my eyes and reduces the my smile lines.



Others


Jeans

I wear these jeans at least once maybe twice a week. The minute they come out of the wash I'm wearing them again, and to be honest their nothing superly special about them, they just get me. Super comfortable, soft and gives me an all round great feeling when I have them on.

Summer winter rain or shine these jeans have seen me through and they are still standing perfectly in tact. I'll appreciate new look forever cause of these jeans.




H&M bag

I love big bag mainly cause I tend to carry many things when I leave the house I rather be overly prepared at all time special cause the weather is always switching things up. So one of my favourite bags in all the collection is this one from H&M.




Flats

My " Maggie" Carvela Kurt Geiger, theses really speak from them sleeves. They are comfortable and perfect for daily use their not too heavy on my feet so I don't feel like I'm dragging. I have them in black too but I just love the nude is my favourite.
